"Hello there!" – Cornelia & Roland – hosts with a warm welcome
We are Cornelia and Roland – your hosts at the Bio Chalets Alpegg in Waidring, at the foot of the Steinplatte. With our chalet project, we fulfilled a long-cherished dream in 2016: to create a place where nature, design and genuine Tyrolean hospitality come together.
Roland – a Kitzbühel native with deep roots in his homeland and passionate photographer – brings his attention to detail to many of the chalets’ special features. Cornelia – a tourism professional through and through – has close ties to Waidring and loves helping guests experience the beauty of the region.
Right from the start, we’ve rolled up our sleeves, planned and furnished everything ourselves. Natural materials from Tyrol, bespoke design and a great attention to detail make your holiday at the Bio Chalets Alpegg something truly special.

Behind the Alpegg Organic Chalets in Waidring, Tyrol, there’s more than just a team of hosts – we’re a small, close-knit community. With heart, passion and appreciation, we ensure that your chalet holiday is hassle-free, cosy and unforgettable.
Just like perfectly meshing cogs, each of us plays our part: in the office in the morning, during the day with the final cleaning of the chalets, or in the garden amongst the flowers and shrubs. Maria – Front Office, Back Office & Housekeeping, Bio Chalets Alpegg
Maria is the heart and soul of our small family business. With a smile, she looks after guest relations and on-site organisation, ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes and makes our chalets shine. As a mum of two, she lives with her husband in a neighbouring village in the Pinzgau region and works part-time with us – she keeps the Bio Chalets Alpegg system, particularly when we’re not on site. Maria is the sister of our hostess Cornelia and a valuable member of our team. Here at our place, Maria is there wherever passion, organisation and warmth are needed.
Jana – Housekeeping, Alpegg Organic Chalets
Jana is one of our unsung heroes in housekeeping and the longest-serving member of our team. She puts her heart and soul into ensuring that your chalets at Bio Chalets Alpegg in Waidring are always spotless and ready to welcome you. When you open the door and feel that ‘Ah, now it’s holiday time’ sensation, a great deal of Jana’s hard work is behind it. With a keen eye for detail, she gets things sorted before anyone else even notices, ensuring a cosy atmosphere from the very first moment. Jana lives with her family in Waidring and brings precisely this warmth to her work here at the Bio Chalets Alpegg.
Nicole – Housekeeping, Bio Chalets Alpegg
Nicole is our master of detail on the team at Bio Chalets Alpegg in Waidring. She takes great care to ensure that everything is perfectly prepared – she particularly enjoys looking after the Talsenalm, as she has a particular love for nature and life on the alpine pasture. Her attention to detail and dedication make every stay even more enjoyable for our guests. Nicole lives with her family in a neighbouring village in the Salzburg region and brings a fresh burst of energy to our team with her warmth and passion. In her spare time, she enjoys studying herbalism.
