Welcome to your Alpegg guest guide – the perfect source of information for a relaxing holiday in the Kitzbühel Alps. Here you’ll find everything you need to know for a stress-free stay: from travel information and local recommendations to practical tips about our chalet and the services we offer. Get ready for an unforgettable holiday!

Check-in & Check-out

Getting here

Your room will be ready from 4.00 pm. Early check-in is possible subject to availability. Please let us know at least one week before your arrival whether we can arrange this for you. Early check-in is free of charge for up to one hour; each additional hour is charged at €10.

Registration form

A few days before your arrival, you will receive an information email from us asking you to send us your details for the registration form in advance. This will enable us to make your check-in quick and hassle-free.

Car parks

Each chalet has a covered parking space in the carport. If you are arriving with additional vehicles, please park them outside the carport in the free parking spaces, wherever there is space available.

The entrance area around the carport is under video surveillance.

Shoes

The chalets are fitted with high-quality wooden floors. Please leave your shoes in the entrance hall and, if you wish, use the slippers provided.

Chalet key

The chalet key opens the main building (ski storage room, information centre, milk churn, games, washroom) and the waste collection area. If the key is lost, you will be liable for the costs incurred.

Free Wi-Fi access

Wi-Fi is available in every chalet. You will find the access code in the guest information folder.

Ski storage room, ski boot and hiking boot dryer

The ski storage room and drying room are in the main building; it’s the first door on the left.

Pets at the Alpegg Chalets

Pets are very welcome at the Alpegg Chalets; please note the following:
∗ No pets on beds, sofas or blankets
∗ The fenced-off area around the biotope is a dog-free zone
∗ Keep dogs on a lead when leaving the property and be considerate of other guests
∗ Walk your dog outside the chalet grounds and use a poo bag

If you are travelling with a dog, please let us know in advance. The charge for bringing a dog is 20 euros per day.

Additional guests

Only guests who are registered with the Alpegg Chalets guest register are permitted in the chalet. Any additional overnight guests must be requested and registered in advance. Failure to comply with this rule will result in a charge of €100 per night per person. Thank you for your understanding!

Check-out

Your room is available until 10.00 am

Late check-out

Late check-out is possible subject to availability and room occupancy. Please note that we charge 50 per cent of the daily rate for late check-out. To enable us to assess your request, please let us know at least one week before your departure whether this is possible.

Clear away the rubbish

The chalet key locks the waste room in the entrance area.
Waste separation:
• Black bin: general waste.
• Cardboard & paper together in the appropriate waste bin.
• Plastic and tins in the yellow plastic bag.
• Please place glass separately in the glass recycling bin.
• Compost bin (fruit and vegetable waste).
Please place coffee capsules in the designated recycling bin.

Duty of care

Tenants and fellow travellers must treat the chalet with care. Tables and furnishings must not be moved, and kitchen utensils and crockery must remain in the chalet.
Close doors and windows when leaving the chalet (rain and snow can get into the chalet through tilted windows).
Please let us know if anything is damaged or broken. The tenant is liable for any damage up to the cost of replacement.

Payment methods

You can settle your bill the day before or on the day of departure from 8 am. We accept cash, EC cards, Mastercard and Visa.

Bread roll delivery service

Start your day with fresh bread rolls from the traditional Decker bakery in Waidring. Until 7.30 am, the exclusive breakfast service delivers oven-fresh bread rolls and croissants straight to your chalet.

Prices:
Adults: €4.90 (1 bread roll, 1 croissant)
Children: €3.00 (1 bread roll, 1 pastry)

Minimum order: 2 people.
Ordering: Up to one week before arrival or directly when booking.

Weber gas barbecue in the garden

There is a Weber gas barbecue in the garden, which you can use for cosy barbecues with friends, family or just the two of you. Enjoy some unforgettable moments over a delicious barbecue!

Fresh milk from an organic farm

Fresh organic milk (€1 per litre) is available from 7.00 am or 6.30 pm at the Rettenmooshof (directly opposite, with a bell tower on the roof). The milk churn is located in the entrance hall of the main building.

A soak in a wooden hot tub with mountain views

A unique experience: bathing in a wooden hot tub with breathtaking mountain views. Enjoy this natural bathing experience exclusively at the Premium Chalet Berg.Kunst and at the Tiny Chalet Kalipe – the perfect place for relaxation and well-being in the heart of nature.

A whirlpool experience at the Alpegg Chalets

Two of our exclusive chalets feature a hot tub, promising unforgettable moments of relaxation. Take a dip and enjoy the soothing bubbles amidst the picturesque Alpine landscape. The hot tub is available exclusively at the Premium Plus Chalet Berg.Heimat, in the Premium Chalet Berg.Pioniere and at the Main Lodge.
The massage function and lighting can be adjusted via the control panel. Please shower before each use of the whirlpool. If the whirlpool is left excessively dirty, resulting in the need for cleaning, a fee of €80.00 will be charged.

In our Casa Chalet, you’ll also find a special whirlpool – a unique model that offers a one-of-a-kind relaxation experience with gentle currents and soothing water.

Sauna Cube outside your chalet

After an action-packed day, relax in the exclusive Sauna Cube right on the terrace of your chalet, with stunning views of the mountains. A unique wellness experience at the Biotop – perfect for rejuvenation and wellbeing.

Biotop – A refreshing start to the morning

The biotope is approximately 1.70 m deep. Numerous aquatic plants ensure the biotope’s regeneration. Access to the biotope is via the gate, past the playground.

Viewing platform

There is a viewing platform in the fenced-off area by the biotope. Make yourselves comfortable and enjoy the view.

Books and games

In the wooden box in front of reception, you’ll find books and games. Please put them back after you’ve finished using them.

Bouldering wall and play area in the garden

The play area features a small trampoline and a play hut with a slide. The mat for the bouldering wall is located in the main building in the ski boot drying room (first door on the left). Please supervise your children. Use at your own risk. Parents are responsible for their children.

Weber gas barbecue

Please let us know one day before you plan to use it so that we can provide you with the gas cartridge. Please read and follow the quick guide before using the Weber gas barbecue. After barbecuing, the barbecue must be cleaned in accordance with the user manual. If additional cleaning is required, the costs incurred will be charged to you.

Our leisure activities

Sledging and snowshoeing

In the wooden shed in the carport, there are two toboggans engraved with ‘Alpegg Chalets’, as well as two pairs of snowshoes and poles. This winter equipment is available to borrow, subject to availability.

Ski hire and snow sports school

Intersport Kienpointner ski hire and the Waidring Snow Sports School are located at the valley station. You can also hire bikes and cross-country skiing equipment in the centre of Waidring. Tip: Book online and save 10 per cent.

Bicycles

Bicycles brought with you can be stored, subject to availability, in the wooden shed by the carport or in the ski cellar in the main building (accessible with the chalet key). Please do not take bicycles into the chalet.

Smoking in the chalets

Smoking is not permitted inside the chalet. Please smoke outside. There is an ashtray in the cupboard by the entrance.
